Dublin is one of Columbus' hippest suburbs, boasting modern bars and eateries, a younger population, and plenty of parks and shops. The town also hosts the Memorial Tournament, a stop on the National PGA Tour, so it's a popular spot for golf enthusiasts to call home. The town was founded (in part) by Irishman John Shields. Therefore, Dublin is named for Ireland's capital and celebrates that tie every chance it gets. Locals play golf on the links-style Golf Club of Dublin and root for local high school teams like the Shamrocks, the Irish and the Celtics. Additionally, the Dublin Community Recreation Center offers classes in Irish dancing, and its theater is named after the Abbey in Ireland. Fire hydrants are painted green, the roads (and the parks) are named after Irish towns, and there are shamrocks everywhere. It's all part of the charm of living here. Now, locals and visitors have a fun new way to celebrate this city's Irish heritage — and it comes stirred, shaken and frozen. The Celtic Cocktail Trail opened this February, inviting locals and visitors alike to visit 11 local bars and restaurants. Ordering the proper Irish cocktail at each of these stops will earn you a stamp, and once you've earned them all, you can cash the stamps in for a t-shirt! Without further ado, here is a complete lineup of the stops on the Celtic Cocktail Trail and what to order at each.
